Here is a Canadian company which makes a Zero Emission No Noise car, the ZENN car. 
One of these electric cars is being driven around my town in Ohio and I am intrigued by it. If you visit their site, www.zenncars.com, read the four chapters of the company’s history. From the brand credo: “ZENN will quietly change the way you think about getting from A to B. ZENN is enlightened mobility”. This video from the Rick Mercer Report gives you a look inside the manufacturing facility and a ride in the electric car. What a great idea whose time has certainly arrived!
I’ve heard about these. There seems to be a good deal of activity in the Electric Vehicle market at the moment. Others to check out are the Chevrolet Volt, the Smart FourTwo EV, and the Tesla Roadster. Also the next version of the Toyota Prius is rumoured to get 100+miles to the gallon.
